Social Media Strategies for Parent Focused Companies

SAHMedia (Stay At Home Media) was born from me seeing the evolution of my blogging from a personal hobby to something that required full time management that made me grateful for my marketing and PR background.

Edison Research has been studying the power of the "MOM" in social media in the USA and the results only confirm what many of us already know. Moms have embraced social media to reach out to other moms, research products, share their opinions and their views.

Through my own personal experiences I have seen how social media can be properly used for both small and large businesses, as well as non-profit organizations and media, to expand awareness of products, services or events.

Better known as Crunchy Carpets to most, I have worked at earning the trust of the working/stay-at-home mother's community as well as cultivated working relationships with some of the biggest companies on the planet such as Chevrolet, Crayola, Simon & Schuster, Maple Leaf Foods, Bosch, Whirlpool, Leapfrog and Dare Foods.

For me social media means community and I love the network of amazing entrepreneurs and mothers that I have met and worked with.
